An Evening of Generosity

Inheritance of Hope (IoH) partnered with the Farmer’s Cookhouse at the Pennsylvania Dutch Market in Hagerstown, MD to host a Seafood Night benefitting IoH families. It was inspiring to see the community come out and support young families affected by terminal illness!

There were many meaningful interactions with those in attendance:

Deanna is the Executive Director of a local Assisted Living Organization. It was a pleasure to meet her and learn about her passion for helping others.

Stacy, a woman with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer found our words of hope and resources to be incredibly beneficial. She left feeling the sense of community that we are building.

Victoria, a massage therapist, came up to learn more as she sees a lot of clients who are facing terminal illness.

Beth, Martha, and Elizabeth are three friends that heard about the work we were doing and wanted to come out and show their appreciation.

None of these connections would have happened without the generosity of The Farmer’s Cookhouse who not only hosted the event, but also offered discounted meals and donated a portion of their proceeds to our families. Thank you for your partnership and kindness!
