- A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), also known as IRA Charitable Rollover, enables individuals age 70½ or older to give directly from your IRA without the distribution counting as taxable income
- If you have a required minimum distribution from your IRA, making a QCD to Inheritance of Hope counts toward your required minimum distribution without counting as taxable income
- You can make a qualified charitable distribution by informing your IRA custodian that you want to donate to Inheritance of Hope directly from your IRA
Donating IRA assets directly to Inheritance of Hope – rather than selling them and then donating the proceeds – enables you to save on your taxes and inspire more hope! Donations to Inheritance of Hope are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; EIN 75-3243566.
