The Tolentino family went on a Legacy Retreat® in 2023, but have only gotten more involved in Inheritance of Hope programming since returning from their trip. Every week, Miguel joins the Caregivers Hope@Home™ Group and his wife, Bianca, joins the Metastatic Breast Cancer group. Their whole family is looking forward to the upcoming launch of Hope Hub™ in Houston, Texas so they can continue experiencing community with others who “get it.”

When asked what he would say to someone who gave financially so his family could experience these services at no cost to them, here is what Miguel shared:
“You might not have help from your family or friends, but you’ve got people donating that care and that pretty much makes them feel special, makes them feel like they’re being loved, even though other people don’t show it. People that donate help out a lot by giving me and everyone else a fighting chance.”
