Mark Shaw
Mark Shaw is the CEO of Shaw Entertainment. Previously, he was President and CEO of the CJ Group’s entertainment affiliates in the U.S, including CJ E&M America, CJ CGV America, and CJ 4Dplex America.
Prior to these roles, he was President of The Grace and Mercy Foundation, a private family foundation based in New York. Prior to that, he was the CFO and Managing Partner at Inmost Partners LLC, the investment management company of Pica Media Fund LP, a hedge fund focusing on global media, entertainment, and internet companies, based in New York.
Before moving back to New York, he was the CFO and Head of International at CJ Entertainment Inc. and CJ CGV Co., Ltd., and Executive Vice President of the CJ Group Strategy Division of the Chairman’s Office.
Prior to joining CJ, he was a Director in the corporate finance and investment banking division of Merrill Lynch in Seoul and Hong Kong, vice president and portfolio manager at Prudential Investments in Hong Kong, and served in various investment banking positions at Lehman Brothers and Bankers Trust in New York and Hong Kong.
He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, and is a retired Captain in the U.S. Army.
Mark joined the Inheritance of Hope board in 2014.
