Let Your Light Shine

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.”
– Matthew 5:16

God is with us, always!

Even during the dark times, God is with us and therefore, we always have His light. Don’t be afraid to let your light shine! Let others know of His good Word. I strive to shine my light through sharing the Gospel.

 

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
– John 8:12

 

What an amazing relief this is! To never walk in the darkness, to never be alone because God is always with us and as long as we have him we are never alone.
Keep this in mind throughout the weekend, let your own light shine on the families we are blessed to serve.

God is light, and since He sent His Holy Spirit to live inside believers, so are we. As His ambassadors on earth, we shine even when we don’t know it. Jesus told His followers to “let your light shine before others,” calling them to live an active faith, not a passive one. Put your light on its stand.
