Tony Reid
Tony Reid joined Marriott in 1985 and worked for Marriott International for 31 years until he retired in 2016. Most recently he held the position of Senior Vice President in the IT discipline. In that role he was responsible for technology strategy to support Marriott’s business objectives. Technology was the cornerstone to enable Marriott to grow its global portfolio of brands and hotels.
Prior to his role in technology strategy, he held positions spearheading the transformation of Marriott’s Sales organization and leading the development and implementation of technology solutions for Marriott’s Sales, Revenue Management, and Event Management organizations.
In 2015 Tony attended an Inheritance of Hope Legacy Retreat with his wife, Janet, and their three children, Morganne, Spencer, and Hannah. Janet was dealing with the enormous challenge of metastatic breast cancer. She passed away in 2015, but since then the memories and legacy of the Retreat continue to inspire and sustain the family.
Tony joined the Inheritance of Hope board in 2017.
