Cooking Up Hope

For adult oncology patients receiving care at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge provides a free place for them to stay during their treatments. Think of Hope Lodge as a Ronald McDonald house for adults.

A cancer diagnosis usually provides a new sense of clarity, perspective, and a desire to be intentional. Because of that, our Legacy Video™ team hosted a “Cooking Up Hope” event to share this free service with Hope Lodge’s guests! Over a meal of catered-in Chipotle, our volunteers were able to share stories of why they love Inheritance of Hope and how easy it is to make a Legacy Video™.

Over 60 guests attended the event and were able to hear about this personal and intentional recording where they can capture their story, share memories, and pass on meaningful messages for their loved ones.

Thanks to generous donors, anybody can make one of these precious videos at no cost to them. Join our team of monthly donors to make it possible for these families to create their legacy at the click of a button!
