You Will Feel Loved
There’s an entire community that understands what you’re going through. And we’re here for you.
A Hope@Home™ Weekend is a life-changing, hope-inspiring experience where your family can connect with other families who “get it.”
Where else can you and your kids (yes, even your resistant teen!) meet others the same age who are facing similar circumstances … and have a lot of fun together?!
And, there is no cost to participate.
*The Inheritance of Hope (IoH) story began with one young family facing a parent’s terminal illness – a mom and dad with young children looking for resources for their entire family as they all navigated the mom’s illness. Surprisingly, there were none. They decided to create resources for their family and share them with others. In 2007, Deric and Kristen Milligan launched IoH with the mission to inspire hope in young families facing the loss of a parent, and the brand has grown to serve families throughout the U.S.

HOPE@HOME™ WEEKEND VOLUNTEER
During a Hope@Home™ Weekend, the primary role of a volunteer is to welcome and encourage families throughout the weekend. Many of these children are facing incredible uncertainty and need a friend! Our Hope@Home™ volunteers will join specified groups to engage with families and offer encouragement and friendship. They will also commit to praying for the families and being available during the weekend as needed.
A Hope@Home™ Weekend volunteer is encouraged to share the Hope@Home™ Registry with their community and to tell their Inheritance of Hope story so more families can benefit from all of the offerings.
