February 4 is World Cancer Day.
For young parents facing terminal cancer, many questions and fears fill their minds:
How do I tell my kids that I have cancer?
Where can I find support for my diagnosis?
What if I don’t get to see my kids grow up? Will they remember me when I’m gone?
How do I create meaningful memories with the time I have left?
Is hope and joy possible in terminal illness?
At Inheritance of Hope, we have a community waiting for you. A community that “gets it”—the struggles, questions, and worries that come with a terminal illness. Through onsite and online programs, your family can know that you’re not alone, and gain resources to navigate what you’re facing. Our programs include:
Hope@Home™: Immediate support for all ages, from anywhere. Join a free, weekly conversation via Zoom with others who “get it.”
Hope Hub™: Connect monthly with other families and supportive volunteers in your community.
Legacy Retreat®: An unforgettable destination experience where families create lifelong memories and receive tools to navigate the challenges of terminal illness.
Legacy Songs™: Whether you want to honor the legacy of someone you’ve lost or simply want to share your story, capture what matters most in a professional song you’ll treasure for a lifetime
Legacy Video™: A beautiful, professionally guided opportunity to share what matters most with your loved ones – a video for your family to treasure forever

Anna Conti is the Marketing & Communications Manager at Inheritance of Hope. When she was 15, her dad was diagnosed with a rare stage four cancer. During this time, Anna felt isolated because she did not know any other kids who knew what it was like to have a terminally ill parent. In 2011, the Conti family attended an Inheritance of Hope Legacy Retreat®, an experience that was truly life-changing for them all. Inspired to give back and help other families, Anna served as a volunteer for many years before coming on staff full time in 2021. Anna currently lives in the Atlanta, GA area.
