Did you know? January is Children Facing a Parent’s Cancer Month.

We’re proud to join Kesem this January in celebrating Joy Out Loud: a movement empowering children facing a parent’s cancer to embrace the bright, bold joy every kid deserves.

At Inheritance of Hope, we help families find joy in terminal illness. Through resources for the whole family and a community that “gets it,” families can know that they don’t have to face the hardest moments alone.

We’re thankful to partner with Kesem and other organizations impacting families affected by cancer during Children Facing a Parent’s Cancer Month. Together, we’re helping create moments that let these courageous kids laugh louder, play freely, and feel supported by a community that truly sees them and understands.

Anna Conti is the Marketing & Communications Manager at Inheritance of Hope. When she was 15, her dad was diagnosed with a rare stage four cancer. During this time, Anna felt isolated because she did not know any other kids who knew what it was like to have a terminally ill parent.  In 2011, the Conti family attended an Inheritance of Hope Legacy Retreat®, an experience that was truly life-changing for them all. Inspired to give back and help other families, Anna served as a volunteer for many years before coming on staff full time in 2021. Anna currently lives in the Atlanta, GA area.
