While trips to the beach and backyard BBQs are still in full swing, we’re starting to think about the holiday season. Why? Because for families navigating a life-threatening illness or loss, that time of year can feel overwhelming. Between holiday events, family traditions, shopping, cooking, and everything else the season brings, it can be difficult to find space to simply be together.
That’s why we started the Holiday Hope Box project four years ago, as a way to deliver holiday joy to Hope Hub™ families—without all the planning and logistics.

Holiday Hope Boxes deliver joy through a bundle of hope-filled resources and gifts to help families navigate the holiday season and make lasting memories together. Each box is lovingly put together and includes fun surprises, holiday activities, and meaningful resources. Rather than adding more events to the calendar, these little deliveries encourage families to slow down and enjoy time with each other.

As a mom of two who lost her husband to terminal illness, Tessa has a deep understanding and compassion for families walking a similar path.
