No doubt this day was special!  All of the families had a wonderful time in the Disney Parks and there were lots of smiles and stories to share this evening.

Please check out all the twitter feeds to read the moment by moment action by each family.  I must admit I have delegated out my “tweeting” to a very lovely and capable volunteer named Jacey.  She is gifted with words and enthusiasm and I know she enjoys keeping everyone up-to-date with the families and activities of this Inheritance of Hope Legacy Retreat.  (Thanks Jacey!)

Several of the children gleamed as they shared their roller coaster stories and special moments in the Disney spotlights. It was a very long and very exciting day for everyone.

This evening several of the couples got the opportunity to have a private time with the children’s counselors to talk about any questions or concerns they have for their children.  They were also given the opportunity to record a Legacy Video for their children.  We try to make this very difficult task easier by setting up a nice quiet spot with good lighting and a digital video camera so they can record some special words for their children.

Tomorrow will come early with breakfast and another session.  The kids will love what is in store for them in the session! Then we will hit the parks for another day of fun and memories!
