Sign up for Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge with 7500 of your closest friends!
Are you looking for the ultimate test of endurance? Then compete in Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge where you will run the Half Marathon on Saturday and then the Marathon on Sunday. If you finish both races in the time limit you will be awarded the coveted Goofy medal.
How can I register?
Applicants are required to provide credit card information as a guarantee. However, your credit card will only be charged for the balance remaining if we have not received your fundraising commitment level by December 29, 2010.
The registration form is prepopulated with "0.00" as the amount. To avoid your card being charged when you sign up, please leave the amount as "0.00".
There is a 30 day period after you sign up to withdraw your name from the Team Inheritance of Hope roster for the 2011 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend - with NO OBLIGATION to the fundraising commitment. Due to the Disney Marathon Weekend registration deadline for charities, registrations received after September 15, 2010 do not qualify for the No Obligation trial period.
What is my fundraising commitment?
All runners are required to raise a minimum of $1350 by December 29, 2010.
Option 2: Commit to raise $2000 and receive 3 complimentary nights at the Coronado Springs Resort during the 2011 Disney Marathon Weekend.
Option 3: Commit to raise $3000 and receive 3 complimentary nights at the Coronado Springs Resort and 1 free roundtrip airfare in the continental United States for the 2011 Disney Marathon Race Weekend.

Inheritance of Hope is a young organization with a big vision. We reach out to families with children under 18 where one of the parents has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. We provide all expense paid retreats and ongoing support to these families. We believe that “Every Family Deserves a Legacy”®.
As a member of Team Inheritance of Hope, my participation in the Walt Disney World Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge on January 8-9, 2011, will raise funds and awareness for Inheritance of Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving families with children who have a parent with a life-threatening illness. Help me meet (or exceed!) my goal of $1,350. With your contribution, we can share together in the joy of helping to build legacies for families who are facing a tremendous challenge in their lives.
Inheritance of Hope coordinates and hosts Legacy Retreats for families with children under 18 who have a parent with a life-threatening illness. Because of generous supporters like you, their Retreats are provided at absolutely no cost to the participating families. These events offer unique and fun activities for parents and children together, forming precious, lifelong memories for the whole family. They also create a community of people who find comfort in knowing that they are not alone in their struggles. Just as importantly, these Retreats are restful – a rare luxury for ill parents. Beyond the Legacy Retreats, Inheritance of Hope also offers a scholarship, inspirational literature, and speaking engagements that address the deep needs of these families.
Inheritance of Hope is a young organization with a big vision. In the United States, there are over one million family members facing the challenges of a parent’s terminal illness. These families’ entire lives become consumed by the illness, leaving them without the resources to plan or pay for meaningful family time.
