WELCOME TO THE DEPEW'S PAGE!
Thanks for checking out our webpage and considering donating to Inheritance of Hope. We all know Adam ran the Chicago marathon last year and Liz hates running with a passion! So, what brings us together to meet in the middle and do a half marathon?? Inheritance of Hope (IOH) and the KIDS!
This is a really cool organization that provides retreats to families that have a child under the age of 18 and a parent with a life threatening illness, so they can create lasting memories during a difficult time.
Think back to being a child and when you were scared, who was there? When you lost your first tooth, who was there? When you were giggling, who was there? When you needed help on your homework, who was there? When you went to your first dance, who was there? In the not-so-distant future, the kids who qualify for these retreats may not be able respond to those questions with his/her parent as the answer. Let’s help those kids to remember their parents as smiling and the good times they had!
Please support us for the half marathon and donate to IOH. We have a hefty goal to meet, it is not an option not to meet it and we need YOU!
Let’s do it for the kids!
Thanks in advance for your support! Adam and Liz
P.S. IOH is a 501(c)3 and donations are tax deductible…get it in before the end of the year!
Inheritance of Hope coordinates and hosts Family Retreats for families with children 18 and under who have a parent with a life-threatening illness. Because of generous supporters like you, their Retreats are provided at absolutely no cost to the participating families. These events offer unique and fun activities for parents and children together, forming precious, lifelong memories for the whole family. They also create a community of people who find comfort in knowing that they are not alone in their struggles. Just as importantly, these Retreats are restful – a rare luxury for ill parents. Beyond the Family Retreats, Inheritance of Hope also offers a scholarship, inspirational literature, and speaking engagements that address the deep needs of these families. Inheritance of Hope is a young organization with a big vision. In the United States, there are over one million family members facing the challenges of a parent’s terminal illness. These families’ entire lives become consumed by the illness, leaving them without the resources to plan or pay for meaningful family time. Inheritance of Hope’s vision is that “Every Family Deserves a Legacy.”® Thanks for your support!!!
Inheritance of Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, EIN 75-3243566. All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
