Volunteer Spotlight: Reggie & Haleigh Black

The Black family attended an Inheritance of Hope Legacy Retreat® in August 2014. Haleigh Black, now age 18, and her father, Reggie, returned as volunteers to serve at the most recent retreat in May this year. They were part of the largest group of served family members returning to volunteer, as 17 individuals from Legacy Retreat® families served.

Volunteer Spotlight: Nate Most

Repeat volunteer Nate Most first heard of Inheritance of Hope at a small tractor dealership in his hometown of Brady, Nebraska.  A rancher, Nate was simply doing business and was surprised when a stranger who had come in for oil approached him and told about how his own family had been blessed by an IoH Legacy Retreat®.  The story resonated with Nate since his wife of 25 years, Amy, had been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

As the 2011 Marine Corps Marathon approaches, I am seeking volunteers to help with the Team Inheritance of Hope festivities over the weekend in Washington, DC.  I was trying to put into words the rewarding experience of volunteering.  I have resorted to pictures ... and quotes from others - to try to motivate you to join us for a fun, exciting weekend - October 28 - 30!  ...
