Hurray! Today is the day we’ve been looking forward to — the beginning of the February 2012 Disney Legacy Retreat! The staff and volunteers are in Orlando and are so looking forward to picking up all the wonderful families soon. It’s a beautiful day here in Florida — so many good things are in store!
We are very excited to meet and welcome 12 families and 35 staff and volunteers from Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Michigan, Kansas, New York, Georgia, and North Carolina. The Double Tree hotel has been extremely gracious to us, making us feel very comfortable.
We are coming from many places to share an amazing Legacy Retreat!

Tomorrow, I will have the honor and privilege of welcoming 16 families from all over the country to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. These families are coming from Arkansas, Michigan, Massachusetts, Maine, Missouri, Connecticut, Indiana, Tennessee, Nebraska, New York, Texas, Ohio, and Iowa. 
30 days from today Inheritance of Hope will be welcoming 16 families from all over the country to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for a trip of a lifetime!!! As I get to know these families, I am amazed at some of the similarities. In my mind I already see the friendships developing between the children of similar ages and the parents with the same illnesses.
