Hurray! Today is the day we’ve been looking forward to — the beginning of the February 2012 Disney Legacy Retreat! The staff and volunteers are in Orlando and are so looking forward to picking up all the wonderful families soon. It’s a beautiful day here in Florida — so many good things are in store!
We are very excited to meet and welcome 12 families and 35 staff and volunteers from Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Michigan, Kansas, New York, Georgia, and North Carolina. The Double Tree hotel has been extremely gracious to us, making us feel very comfortable.

Today the Inheritance of Hope volunteers and staff have visited LaGuardia, JFK and Newark airports and welcomed 7 families from Florida, West Virginia, Oregon, Utah, Texas, and Georgia. We are pleased to share that all the families arrived on time and with all their luggage. They drove over a bridge or through a tunnel to the island of Manhattan to the Hotel Novotel.
